Control of the trunk
Removing the heart of the Pro-Kin system from its housing (fig. x) and positioning it on the trunk support kit, enables a proprioceptive trunk exercise position that is very similar to the position given by the so called Bobath-balls.
By sitting on the Pro-Kin platform, the patient is provided with real-time control over his/her trunk motions and can thus interact with the system thanks to its powerful visual feedback.
The applications of this type of treatment are countless, be it for neuromotor applications (hemiplegic patients) or for orthopaedic applications (scoliotic patients).
